CIA at Copia’s Flavors of Film Series celebrates the rich connection between food and film with immersive events that combine movie screenings with themed dining events plus engaging conversations with the people who helped create these iconic films.

Experience the Truffle Hunter life with an Exclusive Screening and White Truffle Chef’s Dinner

Truffles—not just any variety, but the luxurious earthy white beauties. There’s nothing in the world like it! Join us for an exclusive Chef’s Dinner featuring Sabatino white truffles following the award-winning documentary, The Truffle Hunters (2020) on Saturday, December 7. Follow the story of hunters who go deep into the forests of Piedmont, Italy in search of the rare and expensive white Alba truffle. Now, you have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience this exclusive ingredient as part of CIA at Copia’s Flavor of Film series.

Dinner is crafted by Chef Roland Passot and a special guest chef from the Italian Cultural Institute who are also part of the discussion panel with Umberto Gibin from Perbacco in San Francisco. And, as an added treat, you’ll get to meet the talented truffle-hunting dog, Elio, and his owner Jonah Ward as they share their personal stories about truffle hunting and their unique lifestyle.
